Roles: 1 Full-time Permanent. Hours of Work: Mon-Fri: 8.00am-4.30pm
1 Part-time Maternity Cover (6-12 months). Hours of Work: Mon-Fri: 11.00am-3.00pm
The Company
We are a leading provider and developer of a wide range of bespoke added-value food ingredients, which are used by food manufacturing customers in the ready meal and convenience food supply chain, for onward sale to supermarkets and food service. All our products are made to order and are created to individual customer requirements and development briefs. We are now seeking two kitchen assistants to support our growth and continued success.
The Roles
The Responsibilities for the Full-Time role are detailed below. The Part-Time role is a support role, the main duties of which will be portioning and making up sachets as well as cleaning/washing up. However, there will also be an opportunity to develop and occasionally carry out some of the duties below, particularly to cover for holiday and sickness absence.

Full-Time Permanent Development Kitchen Assistant
Reporting to the Development Kitchen Coordinator, the main responsibilities of the role are:
• To produce development samples from agreed recipe formulations
• To produce quality development samples
• To follow recipes precisely and to maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen
• To review development work and follow up with the Development Kitchen Coordinator
• To contribute to the continuous improvement of recipes and procedures

• Understanding of ingredients and how the finished product should taste
• Knowledge of food hygiene
• Communication skills, written and oral
